A Day in the Low
Day 345:
What a wonderful day in the Low Country, Conor. The day would start with the clean up at old Bill Robinson's house at the crack of dawn, Son. Though following that we stayed true to the tradition of of playing a golf tournament; though this tournament would shrink from years past. In the olden days we would play 10 or 12 deep. Now a days, not so much... Today it would be just me and Sterno and Al and Grandpa K9 and we wouldn't even get to finish 18 as the course was backed up and we were scheduled to have a dinner at "Wrens" in down town Beaufort at 5:00pm... Oh the problems in the Low, Son...
After golf it was back to the house for a quick shower and then back out agian t9o a wonderful dinner with family at "Wren" in old Beaufort, Son. A fantastic dinner with good wine and a lot of conversation about, well, you... When having dinner with family, all it seems there is to talk about is you! A good conversation topic to be sure... But the night wouldn't end there, no no...
We made our wayt back to Pleasant Point Plantation only to quickly put you in your PJ's, fix your dinner, and head back out with Al, Jen, Katie, and Craig for a night on the town with Grandparents as babysitters and few worries... A great time and yet another day in the low, Son.
Home now, tired - exhausted really, and it's time to get to bed. Though we've got ONE MORE DAY in the Low Country, Boy'O. And you can bet we'll make the best of it!
I love you, Son...
-Dad
