Shopaholic...

Day 85:

Mommy's taking full advantage of her last week leading into her going back to work; a bittersweet occasion to be sure. Bitter in the sense she's leaving you for the day, sweet from the standpoint that the only thing she loves more than the art of the deal, is you... For me, work is work. It's what I do because it's what I have to do in order to make a living and enjoy this lifestyle, and now, ensure you never want for anything. And modestly I happen to be very good at what I do, but I don't LOVE it. Conversely, Mommy's passion is in her work... And the busier the better. I don't think Mommy ever realized she could ever take more pride in anything than the results she produces before welcoming you.

Anyhow, Mommy took advantage of the great weather (60s and sunny) and the fact that, aside from a few phone calls, she didn't have much else to do, so she decided to pack you up and take you shopping at the Leesburg Outlet Mall. It's an outdoor mall with plenty of sunshine and so perfect to walk you around in... And you would think that would be enough, but NO! After a brief stint at home while waiting for me to arrive, we packed you up and went to ANOTHER mall! This time, Fair Oaks Mall. After some walking, some exchanging, and some shopping, we stopped off for a bite to eat, then got you home. A long day of shopping! And now we hope a long night of sleeping.

Speaking of sleep, I'm off, Boy'O. Just thinking about all that shopping has worn me out! But never the Lion Heart. No, never you.
